Frequently Asked Questions

A load of clothes is the amount of clothes that the minimum amount of laundry detergent will clean. One pod, the lowest line on the lid of liquid detergent, or the minimum line on the scoop of powder detergents.

A regular washing machine can hold 3 or 4 loads of laundry at a time A typical mesh laundry bag that is about 15" in height can hold about 3 to 3 1/2 loads of laundry. That bag, if 1/4 to 1/3 full would be one load. One load might be something similar to 2 pairs of jeans with  3 shirts.

If we are going with the 2 pair of jeans and 3 shirts example, might be 5 pounds. But that varies on the size of person that fits the clothes. A 10 year old's jeans and shirts will weigh less than an adult that weighs 190 pounds.
